Growth Mindset

I loved introducing the growth mindset to our class last week! We had a great time learning about our brains and the neurons that grow as we learn new things. We talked about ways to change our words to reflect the growth mindset in our classroom. Here is a picture of the chart we have hanging around our room. Be sure to ask your child what they learned about a fixed vs. growth mindset last week!

Strong and Weak Numbers

Last week, we learned all about rounding to the tens and hundreds place. We are using "strong and weak numbers" to help us remember when to round up and when to round down. Make sure to ask your child about this strategy!

Strong numbers! 💪💪💪
