Hello Families of Room 2!
Listed below are the important reminders and objectives for our week.  Please let me know if you have any questions.  Thanks!

Important Reminders:

• We have our first set of homework due on Monday!  Please remind your child to decorate their writer's notebook and bring it back to school with them on Monday.  Thank you!
• Don't forget your child may bring in a snack and water bottle!

Weekly Objectives:

Writing:  This week we will set up the expectations of our writer's workshop.  We will also share our decorated writer's notebooks and begin generating writing ideas!

Reading: During reader's workshop we are going to discuss how readers choose good books and we will begin building our reading stamina!

Science:  We are going to begin our first chapter on Tuesday.  We will be discussing and reviewing the scientific method as well as the tools that scientists use!

Math:  This week we will review the expectations of math centers.  We will work independently as well as in small groups!
